St. Clair Skippers:

🎄Winter and letter G week🎄 This week we talked about Christmas trees, winter weather, and learned about the letter G! Our questions of the day were: * What do you wear when it’s cold * Do you like hot chocolate? What can you put in it? * What are some ways you can stay warm in winter? * How tall can a Christmas tree grow? * What are some words that start with letter G? Throughout the week we practiced our song “I want a hippopotamus for Christmas” and had our holiday program! In the classroom we had a fizzy candy cane science experiment, painted Christmas trees, and started making our special Christmas gifts! Next week we will talk about gingerbread and letter S! Have a great weekend 🎄😊

Nautical Stars:

Happy Friday Families😊 This week we didn’t have a theme! We reviewed the letters and numbers we have gone over so far! During circle time, we focus on cognitive, social-emotional, and language development. We read multiple stories from our library this week. We reviewed the alphabet, numbers 1-10, shapes, colors, and the date and weather for the day. The students get opportunities to engage with the circle time material as well as each other. We have been in the gym riding bikes, running obstacle courses, kicking and throwing balls & having a blast. For art this week, students created their own candy canes with tissue paper, and painted salt Christmas trees! Next week our theme will be “Snow/Christmas” Have a great weekend! 💕 Ms. Bre & Ms. Daniele ⭐️

Hello Everyone We hope you have had a great week! We've had a really fun week here! We're getting into the festive season! The children had a holly jolly time. The kids also enjoyed making fingerprint Christmas Lights, puffy paint snowman, marbled painted Christmas globe and, our Big Christmas Tree. The children practiced their gross motor skills by balancing, and jumping on our giant snowflake! Thank you to everyone that came and joined us at the Holiday Program. The children did a wonderful job on the stage performing our Christmas song. We are so proud of them yay... Next week we will work on the theme Christmas again. We will read books about winter and Christmas. Please make sure to dress children appropriately for the weather. We go outside weather permitting. Please remember: -On Monday families need to circle if your child will have breakfast or lunch for the whole week. -Label your child's cup, napping bag with first and last name -Make sure your child has a coat for outside, hat, gloves -Don't forget to check your child's cubby and mailboxes for important information and their artwork. As the weather gets colder and viruses are going around we are using more Kleenex and disinfecting wipes to clean the tables and chairs, if you could help us by donating some, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Have a wonderful weekend! Ms. Erin Ms. Amanda Ms. Olga

Shorianettes:

Happy Friday! We hope you all had a great week. It was such a joy to have our Christmas show this week and we hope it was as joyfully for you as well. Our theme of the week was winter. We explored various art materials including markers, paint, and crayons. We colored snowflakes, a class snowman collage, and snowstorm. We continued with circle time this week, reading ABC, 123, and colors, and introducing a song to welcome all the children for the day. For fine motor development, we saved the snowflakes from tape, threw snowballs (also gross motor) into boxes, and stacked blocks. We worked on our gross motor skills this week, playing with balls, bubbles, music, and dancing to our favorite songs. We are still working on washing hands as well as supporting our friends who are not fully walking yet. We hope you all have a great fun filled weekend. We will see you all bright and early Monday morning! Miss Angel and Miss Skye
