Early Childhood Center Weekly Update

Happy Friday Families!!!!
It's Spring Break!!! ๐
This week we have been learning about Spring and making eggs. We used watercolor paints and painted what we thought was just a white egg... But turned out it had shapes hidden in it!! We got to use whipped cream and food coloring to dye plastic eggs, that was so much fun! We got to color and put stickers on bunnies and eggs on the table. Friday we got a pajama and movie day! The Easter bunny even hid some eggs in our room for us to find with treats in them for us. We had so much fun!! We got to watch a movie and have snacks during the movie too!
When we come back we will be learning about flowers and the week after we get our butterflies!

Happy Friday Families๐
This week our theme was โEaster โ and we reviewed the letter K .
During circle time, we focus on cognitive, social-emotional, and language development.
We read multiple stories from our library this week. We reviewed the alphabet, numbers 1-10, shapes, colors, and the date and weather for the day. The children get opportunities to engage with the circle time material as well as each other.
We have been in the gym riding bikes, running obstacle courses, kicking and throwing balls & having a blast.
For art this week we made bunny rabbits and colored Easter eggs .
Next weekโs theme will be โSpringโ, and we will be reviewing letter โLโ.

Hello Families!๐ฟ๐ฃ
This week we focused on Easter ๐ฃ.
We made a Bunny ๐ฐcraft, colored Easter eggs and so many fun activities. The kids really enjoyed this week yayโฆ
During the small group we played with play dough, and rescued the eggs ๐ฅ from the basket ๐งบ.
We read Easter books every day. We will continue to work on our fine motor and gross motor skills.
During circle time we go over the shapes, colors, numbers and our ABC song. They have so much fun with the sensory bin, that is filled with rice and Easter eggs ๐ฃ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐

Happy Friday and happy reading as March is reading month! We made it through another week of fun with Easter.
This week week we colored plastic eggs and colored with crayons and markers.
We worked our fine motor skills with pop-itโs, tape pulling, saving the stars and building blocks
We continued with circle time, reading ABC, 123, and colors, and a song to welcome all the children for the day.
The children are quickly picking up on simple sign language that we are learning, such as book, more, please, mom, dad, etc.
We worked on our gross motor skills this week, playing with balls, bubbles, music, and dancing to our favorite songs.
We are still working on washing hands and transitions.
We hope you have a great weekend and break and we will see you all bright and early Monday morning when we come back.

PARENT/CHILD PICTURE BOARD
We love putting pictures of our families up please bring in a family picture so we may place it on our board. The children love to go up to them and say mama or dada.
This week we have been working on tummy time, rolling over, standing, walking, sitting and crawling. We have been reading stories and playing.
Please remember your child has a mailbox outside our classroom and there will be important information going home. ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ
