About Us

The Lake Shore Early Childhood Center (ECC) is the place where Lake Shore’s youngest learners begin their educational journey.

Guided by our slogan, “Let Your Child’s Career with Lake Shore Begin with Us,”  the ECC will soon welcome families to a newly renovated, state-of-the-art early childhood facility conveniently located at 12 Mile and Harper. The center is open year-round and proudly participates in Michigan’s PreK for All program.

Serving children from 2 months through 4 years of age, the Lake Shore Early Childhood Center will soon offer 18 welcoming classrooms thoughtfully designed to support hands-on learning, school readiness, and whole-child development. Our highly qualified and dedicated staff provide a safe, secure, and dependable environment, featuring both indoor and outdoor learning spaces that support an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum.

LSECC Coordinator Kelly Biondo shared, “I am incredibly proud of the ECC and its remarkable staff. Their unwavering dedication, boundless passion, and tireless efforts inspire me every day. Together, we create a nurturing environment where children and families thrive, and that is something truly special.”

Under the leadership of Director of Early Childhood Education Lisa Bonett and Program Coordinator Kelly Biondo, Lake Shore Early Childhood Center is committed to excellence, collaboration, and building a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Coming Soon: We know that planning ahead is important for families. LSECC will continue to expand programming to meet the growing needs of our community. Stay tuned for more information about upcoming enrollment dates and registration information.
